I see that MWeb Business have put up the Broadband Comparision tool i developed whilst at Ogilvy Interactive.
A real simple app but different from a standard “excel” type of comparison tables in that you drag & drop Broadband option “pills” into the columns which can be swopped by dragging the pills assigned to them.
Fed by XML this app is easily updated, content and new option wise. Not too much to it but sometimes simple apps are alot more …um… apt?

I’ve just completed the development of an online application for Verisign which allows users to browse movie genres, select a movie and then watch the selected movie. This is a functional demo that uses the kontiki digital media delivery system:
Kontiki offers the industry’s most secure and scalable digital media delivery solution, enabling enterprises and content providers to securely publish, deliver and track digital media to employees, partners and customers.
I used the new Flash 8 External Interface class to send requests to javascript and listen to events sent to Flash by javascript. [Javascript communicates with the kontiki client] The movie genres, movie details [synopsis etc] are xml requests and responses.
Hopefully this application will make it through its demonstration phase and i can provide a preview. Im thinking this could be a perfect application for Adobe’s new Apollo technology!
