September 20th, 2006On the topic of getting games out in a hurry, i did this in a day. You can probably tell by its lack of features, but it works so!

I completed this game last Friday against a really tough deadline [8 days!], including the game engine, site structure and Flash Remoting.
The difficulty of the game is found in ‘config.xml’ which, amoungst others, sets:
[xml]
[/xml]
The Flash Remoting included ‘Send To Friend’ , ‘Add Score’, ‘Return Scores’ Classes. I recommend using Flash Remoting to anyone dealing with a server. It is just so quick and reliable. Se-ree-as!
Meg and Max, the galaxy taste busters conquered the Loeries on Saturday night. Me ole mom and I attended the 2006 South African Advertising awards in Margate. It was loud and bright, with Mr Springbok Nude Girl himself Arno Carstens kickin the show off! Anyways it was a thrill seeing the Melrose Game up on the big screen and when it won the award I was indeed stoked!
Repeck to Tor for his great animation work and dedication to the project, he is indeed a legend.
Also to my boys: Andrew Shaw [www.wickedpixels.com] and Chris Carney [www.hellocomputer.net] who both brought home the bacon.
