Part of a huge MTN campaign, advertised at cricket studiums and on telly when cricket matches are being shown.
Features a “Backyard Builder” allowing our users to customise their own backyard by adding a choice of obsticles and setting there values [2,4,6 or Out]. You can then invite users to view and vote on your backyard, each backyard has its own scoreboard and following.
The game is phased so the user can play tougher matches once they have “cracked” the previous levels.
We took photos in studio of the batsman and bowler, cut them out and templated them to the sites requirements, ie blocking, hitting a shot, going out and being struck by the ball.

UPDATE:[03/08/09]
Apparently they had it incorrect on the Loeries site and it was bronze not gold. Still love this game!

I developed this game in 2006 whilst working at Ogilvy Interactive. I was browsing past Loerie winners and to my suprise i saw that this game had won a Gold Bronze Loerie. I always loved the artwork in this site and enjoyed how simple the game is, which is good considering it is aimed at kids.

This app allows users to create a custom tshirt. They get to choose their torso, customise their shirt, add and crop their head shot and add copy to the shirt. Once their shirt is created, they can add it to the gallery, where people can vote if they like it.

I completed development on www.mavericks.co.za [R18] a week or so ago.
It is a meeting, greeting and eating place for
discerning people where the emphasis is on a
glamorous, sensual, and relaxed atmosphere.
With 100 beautiful dancers for your entertainment.
The site is content managed via Unysen [Java based CMS], so the Revue Bar, Events and even the Meet the Girls section can be updated by the client.
The Meet the Girls sections is a carousel of selectable girls on a stage who, if you are registered, will do a lovely strip show for you. Smoke flows on to the stage, via an .flv, once it has fully loaded.

Meg and Max, the galaxy taste busters conquered the Loeries on Saturday night. Me ole mom and I attended the 2006 South African Advertising awards in Margate. It was loud and bright, with Mr Springbok Nude Girl himself Arno Carstens kickin the show off! Anyways it was a thrill seeing the Melrose Game up on the big screen and when it won the award I was indeed stoked!
Repeck to Tor for his great animation work and dedication to the project, he is indeed a legend.
Also to my boys: Andrew Shaw [www.wickedpixels.com] and Chris Carney [www.hellocomputer.net] who both brought home the bacon.
